Did you catch Kate Upton’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover? She’s lookin fit AF and we love to see it.
According to her trainer, this is what Kate’s training program looks like:
Heavy strength training: 3-4 days/week
Cardio: 2-3 sessions/week (a mix of high intensity intervals and low/moderate intensity steady conditioning)
Recovery: 1-2 days off each week
Kate eats a healthy diet comprised of ample protein, fruit, veggies, and complex carbs. She doesn’t deprive herself or over-diet, and indulges when she wants to. She’s been training and eating this way consistently for 9 years!
While you won’t ever look exactly like anyone else due to genetic and lifestyle differences, we can all certainly learn from Kate.
Kate does not starve herself, she doesn’t do massive amounts of cardio, and she’s not afraid of heavy weights. I love to see a super model looking so amazing and attributing it to strength training.
